Ruby finally gets to Baku on the Caspian coast, but she has a few problems on the way. George visits an old friend in Britain and Max………………….. you’ll have to read it.

I wanted chapter 13 to be dark and brutal, but I also wanted people to really want to be in that car with Ruby. I hope I succeeded.
